Prevent Water.
Whole-Home Filtration and Water Softening

Better water
through the whole house.

Softening and filtration installed where water enters your home. Showers, faucets, laundry and appliances get water that is already treated, through the plumbing you already have.

At the entry

Water is treated before it enters the house.

The system sits outside, at the point of entry. Your existing plumbing carries treated water to showers, faucets, laundry and appliances. Bathrooms and laundry do not need their own equipment.

Water Softening

Less scale. More comfort.

Hard water carries a lot of calcium and magnesium. Those minerals form the scale that marks glass and fixtures and builds up in the water heater, appliances and pipes. The softener exchanges those minerals at the entry, and the salt tank regenerates the resin on its own, on a programmed schedule.

Glass, showers and fixturesFewer white spots and less crust to scrub.
Water heater and appliancesLess mineral buildup in the water heater, dishwasher and washer.
Skin and hairSofter water in the shower, with less of that tight feeling.
Soap and detergentThey go further when the water is less hard.

Inside the Whole House

Four layers. A whole home protected.

Water enters at the top, passes through each layer of the treatment tank and rises through the center tube already treated. The salt tank regenerates the resin automatically, with nothing for you to do.

Treatment tank, top to bottom
01Cation resinExchanges calcium and magnesium for sodium. This is what ends hard water.
02KDF (copper and zinc)Reduces heavy metals and inhibits bacterial growth.
03Activated carbonReduces chlorine, odor, taste and organic compounds.
04Support gravelHolds the layers in place and spreads the flow evenly.
Salt tank
05Automatic regenerationBrine cleans the resin in cycles programmed by the valve.

You notice it wherever water is part of your routine.

Showers and laundry do not need their own equipment. They get treated water through the plumbing your home already has.

For drinking and cooking

Many homes pair it with under-sink reverse osmosis.

The Whole House treats water for the entire home. For the water that goes into your glass, coffee and ice, reverse osmosis under the kitchen sink adds a dedicated second stage.

Questions about the whole-home system.

No. A softener specifically treats hardness. Filtration treats what its media were designed to treat, such as chlorine, taste and odor. In our Whole House both jobs happen in the same tank, in layers.
